Dieu Donné seeks applications for a 2026 Studio Internship, a 4.5-month (approximately 22.5 hours per week) paid position running from late April through early September 2026.
Studio interns will support studio operations, administrative tasks, and teaching assistance related to Dieu Donné’s residencies, artist collaborations, and education programs. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a fully equipped papermaking studio by working closely with studio staff and fellows in a collaborative environment.

This internship is designated for university-level students or recent graduates from low-income or economically disadvantaged backgrounds, in accordance with grant requirements. Financial information is collected solely to confirm eligibility and is not used in evaluating applications.

Eligibility
Requirements:
- Commitment of three days per week (9:30 am–5:00 pm) on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from late April through early September 2026. (Some evening or weekend hours may be required to support classes and events; a maximum of four weekends across the internship period, scheduled in advance.)
- Prior studio experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to represent the studio in a friendly, professional manner
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; fine motor skills required; ability to stand for extended periods
- Authorization to live and work in the United States
Preferred:
- Comfort working in a casual but professional office and studio environment
- Familiarity with Mac OS, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Suite applications
- Art handling experience
Compensation
$17 per hour
