Summary
Communications guides the branding, marketing, and communications strategy for the Guggenheim Foundation, including special projects, and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and supports the efforts of the network museums by leveraging traditional and digital media to promote exhibitions, programs, and other initiatives. The department leads efforts to cohesively position, convey, and protect the Guggenheim’s strong international image and reputation to a diverse range of constituencies, including the media, trustees, staff, members, visitors, and prospective visitors, both locally and worldwide and through in-person as well as digital interactions. Intern placements are offered in a range of program areas including Communications and Public Relations, Digital Experience, Digital Media, Graphic Design, and Marketing.
The Summer 2026 Internship program will offer 2 positions in the Communications department.

Eligibility
Applicants must have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies to apply. Priority is given to rising juniors or seniors in undergraduate programs and to graduate students. The museum welcomes candidates of all backgrounds to apply. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Applicants to the Graphic Design position must provide a portfolio (website link or PDF).
Compensation
$20 per hour
