Summary

Aicon Contemporary is seeking a motivated, hands-on Gallery Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a hard worker, has a positive attitude, and is eager to learn all aspects of gallery operations, from art handling and exhibition support to administration and day-to-day gallery life.

We are looking for a strong team player who is reliable, adaptable, and ready to step in wherever needed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, understands the importance of care and precision, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Details

• Schedule: 2–3 days per week (Tuesday–Saturday, 10am–6pm)
• Misc: This position is not a summer internship.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Photography, Museum Studies, or a related field
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working with hands and physical tasks; experience with art handling is a plus
• Stretching canvas
• Light woodworking
• Detail-oriented and able to handle delicate, valuable artworks with care
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
• Comfortable working in Photoshop and InDesign
• Comfortable working as part of a team and taking direction

Compensation

$17 per hour
