Summary
The Gallery Operations Intern will support the Interpretation Operations team at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis by contributing to the planning and execution of exhibit-related educational and interpretive activities. The intern will assist with operational coordination for programs and exhibits while gaining experience in guest-facing interpretation roles and learning STEM interpretation programs as needed.

Eligibility
- Completion of at least 1 year of college coursework.
- Preferred majors or fields of study include Theater, Museum Studies, Operations-focused programs, or related disciplines.
- Experience working with children preferred, but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative, think creatively, and problem-solve.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills and gaining experience in a museum environment.
Compensation
$15 per hour
