Registrar and Collections Management Summer 2026 Internship

Summary

The Registrar department is responsible for the maintenance of records relating to the collections of the museum, and oversees the movement, packing, transportation, and storage of objects in the museum’s collections. The Registrar department communicates with all exhibition lenders and oversees all loan agreements, developing and implementing policies and procedures pertaining to the acquisition, management, and disposition of collections. The Registrar department also handles arrangements for accessions, loans, shipping, customs, and insurance.

The Summer 2026 Internship program will offer 1 position in the Photography department.

  • Schedule: 8 weeks (30 hours per week)
  • Dates: June 8 – July 31, 2026

Eligibility

Applicants must have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies to apply. Priority is given to rising juniors or seniors in undergraduate programs and to graduate students.  The museum welcomes candidates of all backgrounds to apply.  Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.


Compensation

$20 per hour
