Summary

David Zwirner seeks a Research & Exhibitions Intern to contribute to all main areas of the Research & Exhibitions team. Qualified candidates for this position should have strong interest in research, writing and editing skills, as well as curatorial interests. Some knowledge of twentieth-century and contemporary art is required. Recent college graduates or students currently in graduate programs in relevant fields preferred.

Key Details

The internship runs from approximately March 9 – May 29, 2026. To ensure that our interns have a well-rounded and educational experience, we ask for a commitment of approximately 3 months. The hours are 10AM – 6PM, 3-5 days a week.

Eligibility

  • Candidates must be residents of NY, NJ, or CT.
  • A strong interest in research, writing and editing skills, as well as curatorial interests.
  • Some knowledge of twentieth-century and contemporary art is required
  • A general interest in the arts or larger creative arena.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, strong time-management skills, and an ability to multitask.

Compensation

$17 per hour

David Zwirner is a contemporary art gallery with locations in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, and Hong Kong, and currently represents more than seventy artists and estates. The gallery has been home to innovative, singular, and pioneering exhibitions across a variety of media and genres.
