Summary
The Security Operations Intern will assist the Director of Security with day-to-day security operations and project-based work that supports the safety and security of The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. This intern will contribute to operational improvements, documentation updates, and event and school group procedures while gaining exposure to security operations in a large, public-facing organization.

Eligibility
Areas of Study/Interest: This opportunity is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of security operations and emergency management in a public-facing environment, emphasizing the importance of safety, preparedness, and community engagement.
- Sophomore, junior, or senior at the college level, majoring in Security, Law Enforcement, Homeland Security/Public Safety (preferred)
- Experience working with children preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic computer and software skills.
- Previous security-related experience not required.
Compensation
$15 per hour
