Summary

Teen Curators is a free, in-person program for high school juniors and seniors that offers a unique opportunity to study with a variety of curators, art historians, contemporary artists, and museum educators, right in the heart of Chelsea. Teen Curators gain an understanding of art history, exhibition-making and research practice, as well as the vast career opportunities available in the fields of curation, collections care, museum management and education. Teen Curators culminates with participants presenting their curatorial ideas with the larger arts community, at the Foundation and on our website. This is a paid learning opportunity and all participants will receive a stipend upon completion of the program.

The Hill Art Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded with the goals of amplifying the artist’s voice, deepening the relationship between art and the viewer, and connecting the dots between artistic movements through meaningful juxtapositions. The Foundation is committed to prioritizing education through programs for NYC teens, and commissioning original scholarship for Foundation publications. Visitors to the Foundation can expect rotating exhibitions from a world-class collection that are always free and open to the public.
